There used to be a family of quail living in the rhubarb patch behind my house. I hadn't seem them for quite some time until this past weekend when I ran into a couple of them while hanging my wash out on the line. I saw them again yesterday in the park behind my house when I returned from Sabri Indian restaurant (in time to watch the second to last episode of Buffy)
The thing I remember most about this family of quail is that they looked like the family of birds that ran around at the beginning of the Partridge Family series, although they aren't as colourful as the ones on the telly. I don't think that they live in the rhubarb patch anymore but they have come back. It is definitely a good sign!
While at the restaurant last night, I read the June 2003 FHM Magazine because there was a Girls of Buffy Tribute. Allyson Hannigan even did a photo spread. Read her article here.
Actually, I had intended not to mention the Buffy stuff but to link to some quirky items that I found on the pages of FHM. I always find these magazines a warped sense of entertainment. What do you think of these items?
Talk about flying the friendly skies. Welcome to Ecstasky Airlines! The flight attendants come with their own personal flotation devices and excellent in-flight services and entertainment.
Also, there is a new awareness campaign by the National Prostrate Cancer Coalition to promote prostrate wellness in the US. Check out the new toy to aid in this health campaign!
In other news, I am thinking about changing my blog name but haven't had the time to do this yet. I will keep you posted!
Have a great day!
